Where to find files stored in temporary mem?

I was working in Gmail app using airplane mode. I wrote an extremely long draft that I'd planned to finish later. When I got home, I opened the draft on PC but having realized the most recent draft was still on iPad, I opened my iPad and removed airplane mode so that it would sync. This caused the recent draft to sync with the old incomplete draft on PC. How to access the temporary memory/gmail app data on the iPad to see if I can maybe find any parts of it?
