how to restore from time machine lion backup to...

hi there,

I am trying to solve my macOS sierra update .

I have macbook pro 13 late 2011with Lion .

I have updated to macOS Sierra from App Store but could not open Mac.

I have a lion time machine backup . I need only restore the data from backup .pls support
