Late term buy

I recently bought an Apple Watch series 2 full price. Only a month before the release of the new one (series 3) which happens to be the same price.  Is there any way to trade up?

Hi

For an Apple Watch that has been purchased directly from Apple, Apple's return policy varies by country, but is typically 14 days. Other retailers' return policies may vary.

You can certainly ask Apple, but I'm afraid that no-one here can tell you what Apple will decide. This is a user-based technical support community - you are not talking to Apple here.

Apple does not currently offer either a trade-in program or an upgrade program for Apple Watch.

If you cannot return your Apple Watch, then you may wish to consider selling your Apple Watch privately and putting the proceeds towards your new purchase.

If doing so, be sure to follow Apple's instructions for unpairing your Apple Watch and turning off Activation Lock, such that it is left ready for a new user to set up as their own:

Apple does not offer a trade-in program. You can see if the store would be generous and extend the return window for you, but that is unlikely.

You can sell your watch to buy a Series 3. If you do, be sure to: Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support.
