iCloud Family Storage

Prior to being able to share iCloud storage, I had 2 storage plans purchased for 2 different family members, each 50GB.

How can I upgrade to the 200GB plan and not lose data?  If I purchase the plan on the master account and cancel the other plan will the data move over?

Family Sharing Organizer needs to purchase the 200 GB storage plan. Once the plan is in effect, the only their family member can switch their plan to this shared plan. Nothing will be lost - it’s just a managent change.

ok, will try it out (I was visualizing data for each account being stored independently, but I guess the storage quotas are purely for accounting / management so your explanation makes sense.
