Gift card balance different between devices

I woke up this morning and had one device with the correct gift card amount (I had turned off internet access to my iPhone,the device with correct amount) and my iPad,which had backed up at 6:30 am before I woke up, now has a zero balance.The funds are still available under my AppleId but it makes me curious how and why this would happen? Is this just a bug or could it be something more serious? I included screenshots of the two devices with the issue I’m speaking about. Thank you!
