Mid 2010 Macbook Pro overheating

Hello,

I have a mid 2010 Macbook Pro 15" the 2.4ghz i5, 8GB Ram and recently a ssd upgrade because i broke my HDD

I do believe it's a Macbook Pro 7,1 (not sure haven't been around that place in a while), but ANYWAY i have dual booted windows 7 on it and it overheats, and sometimes my graphics drivers stop responding on windows, it also overheats on my mac side as well just takes maybe like 5 minutes longer, i can use the computer while the fans are screaming at 6000RPM, on windows i play games you know basically the ones that are playable on this like League of Legends, WoW and Skyrim (Surprised me to).

The computer gets hot around where the charger is, that's the hottest area and i would expect that to be, i have a laptop stand that i use at my desk and i know when i watch movies in bed i do expect it to get hot, but it gets to the point where it gets really hot, it slightly burnt my thighs at one point when using it, it still gets as hot on the laptop stand as well

Would replacing the fans make a difference, i have cleaned them out but im just not sure if i want to replace the fans if it's just going to get as hot as before, my laptop doesn't really get that dusty on the inside either

I do have my Cert 3 in IT so i do know how to replace parts and how to fix things, i did a couple of things before like the most common ones of what the other form posts said and it got a little cooler but that didn't last long, so if any of you know any fixes and could help in anyway that'll be great, i just don't know why it's overheating

Had the same problem but resolved it just unscrew the back lid and using air duster cleaned and wiped all the dust inside. MBP back to normal.

Can tell, after 7 years on duty this device is really showing good Apple product.
