Best 7 port usb hub for MBA 13 inch 2013?

Re-connecting to ships navigation and radio devices after switching from Windows to Mac, and will need additional usb ports.  External devices mostly require 2-way communications. I used a D-Link 7 port hub for years but it does not seem happy with the mac and is not a higher speed unit, although speed may not be required for my applications.  I will upgrade to OS X 11 soon.
