Error 5103 when updating iPad Air 2

After plugging in the iPad Air 2 to my PC, iTunes prompted me to update the system to iOS 11 which I did (I had 10.3.3 before). The system was downloaded but the installation couldn't proceed due to error 5103. I was asked whether I wanted to restore the system. I agreed but the same error occurred again. I tried updating on a different computer with the same result.

At the moment my iPad is useless as it doesn't work. The message on the screen asks me to connect it to iTunes. Once done it asks to update or restore. Both of these options produce the same result (error 5103).

Does anyone else have the same issue?

Did you update iTunes to the latest version 12.7?

Yes, I've got the latest iTunes. No updates are available.

It appears a lot of Windows users today are having issues downloading and installing iOS 11 from Apple's servers.

Hopefully, Apple fixed this issue sometime on Monday.
