"Software Update Failed: An error occurred down...

It's been already 8 hours, I've been trying to download the new iOS 11 on my iPad Air 1 and till now, i keep on getting this "Software Update Failed: An error occurred downloading iOS 11"

anybody knows what to do??

An alternative is to connect the iPad to the computer and iTunes and update from there. With the large amount of people attempting to update, it could be the issue. I actually saw the error in iTunes the first time I attempted to download, but it corrected itself in about 5 minutes. My download only took about 12 minutes, and only about another 7 minutes to update. Do you have around 7GB of room on the iPad? It takes about that much to do an OTA update.

well i could download it from my laptop but the problem is my wifi download speed, it's between 100-200 kbps which is very low and it stops regularly so i might get errors and i will have to restart everytime :/ and i have like 8gb free

this doesn't solve my problem, well i just think servers are still crowded because of the huge amount of downloads so i guess i'll just wait few more hours, and if it doesn't work then i'll be sure the problem is from my ipad, thanks anyway
