iMac 27 late 2013

Hello

I was sitting today idle at the imac and suddently a pop came up and the light to the LED went off

Completely

I am just able to see with the flash light which means the lcd is fine , but the light is done

Also connecting to external display works

What can be done ?

Sounds like something in your iMac blew up.

Call your local Apple Store and make an appointment for them to examine. Afterwards they will tell you your alternatives.

By the way you really should not post personal data on these public forums where it can be harvested by scammer. I requested that the Host edit it for your protection.
