WD Passport 1TB not mounting post Sierra upgrade

My WD Passport 1TB is formatted with HFS+ format and post Sierra upgrade, it is not mounting.

I have tried updating the external hard-drive firmware as well, but no success.

HDD is appearing in Disk Utility, System Profiler but it is not mounting.

Please help me.

Did you check off Finder Preferences Hard disks of Show these items on the desktop?

Did you try to run First Aid of Disk Utility?

Yes, i did, It checked there. As external hard disk was showing prior to Sierra upgrade.

I even verified post your comment. It is certainly checked there.

Yes, i have tried First Aid of Disk Utility and it is getting failed again and again with some errors.

Not sure, what the problem is.
