email search issues

i have an exchange account. after updating to macos high sierra, when i search the emails specifically in sent items, it comes out with 0 result, or emails from past...but not recent ones.

till morning when i didnt upgrade to high sierra, everything was working fine.

only the email from exchange sent items are not coming up in search results . however when i search any email using spotlight, the results are shown in spotlight.
