Brightness
Occasionally my brightness-buttons does not work. Even if I reboot my Mac (several times), it won´t work. What to do? (Other times it works just fine)
Resetting SMC could solve the problem.

If it works from System Preferences > Displays on the slider, then it sounds like a keyboard problem. If not try a NVRAM reset:
