Why did ios 11 ruin my wi

My ipad mini2 won't connect to wi-fi since it downloaded ios 11.  Apple is unable to help claiming it must be a hardware problem yet it did download the update so it must be an ios 11 problem!  Don't download this mess. Anyone know when Apple will fix this?

everyone needs to update immediately as my iPad and iPhone works flawlessly.
