PLAY MUSIC THAT IS ON MY PHONE.

The newest version of iTunes tells me that I have to be signed in to Wi-Fi 100% of the time I am playing music.  Including music that has been physically uploaded to my device.  I am not streaming.  I do not want to stream.  Streaming is not happening.  Streaming should not be happening.  "The cloud" has nothing to do with this.  I have mp3s on my device and I want to play them walking down the street.  WHY must I be logged in to the internet at all times to play a ******* song that is sitting right there on my ******* mp3 player?  Never has something in my pocket been so far away from me.  Fix this ********.  Stop the notifications.  When I turn "Cellular Data" off, that means I want it off.  Let me play my music when I go for a ******* jog.  What's next?  Are you going to charge a subscription fee to show the ******* clock?

iTunes is the app you use to connect to iTunes Store, so yes, you need to be connected to the internet.

To play your music, use the Music app.

My iTunes library contains tracks that I did not purchase through the iTunes Store.

In fact, my iTunes library exclusively contains tracks that I did not purchase through the iTunes Store.

The iTunes Store has nothing to do with this.

For that matter, since when do I need to stay in perpetual contact with a store to use a product I bought from it?  When I order a pizza, am I required to stay on the phone with the pizzeria while I eat it?

I have no problem playing content in iTunes or my iPhone when I'm offline. Can you post a screenshot of this notification?
