Cannot get into my mail on AOL

Hi: my iPads and iPhone were working fine until this morning. I can't get into one of my email accounts on AOL. I have now received two error messages.

First one:

The mail server "imap.aol.com" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in mail settings.

Second error message:

The connection to the server "imap.aol.com" on port 993 has timed out.

I saw saw on another discussion that someone changed the port to 993 but it still didn't work. I am not able to change the port. I even tried deleting account and then re-entering, with no luck.

Why all of a sudden? Just came back from vacation, don't know if that had anything to do with it. I doubt it but I have been thinking about anything that could have changed my account.

Can't get my emails on that one account on my other ipads or iPhone.

either contact aol and see what the issue is or delete and reinstall the email account.
