Cannot Send email via Outlook 2011

Any help appreciated!

I can't SEND email on Outlook 2011 all of a sudden from MacBook Pro. Worked fine last week!

This is a POP account. I am still able to send from other devices: iPhone, Mac G5.

Have made no changes in the meantime. Simply stopped sending.

MacBook: mid 2010 15 inch. MacOS Sierra 10.12.5
