Severe Crackling/Popping Audio
As the title says, whenever I listen to any audio from just about any source it will crackle/pop at intermittent intervals. It happens when I'm just listening to music on Youtube or Spotify, it cracks every time I change to another video or pause and un-pause a video/song. It comes through my speakers as well as my headphones. Reseting my pRam via cmnd-option-R-P stops the issue for maybe a minute or two but then the issue comes up again. This is on an early 2014 Macbook Air. I love this laptop, but its made listening to music via bluetooth speakers or headphones absolutely awful of late. I have only had this issue for a couple of months if I recall correctly. Is it a bug with an update? Does my laptop have cancer from less than reputable sites? Is there a DOG? Please help.
