ipod touch 4 activation error

I bought a secondhand ipod touch 4g running ios 6.1.6, 4 days ago. It works well, i synced it with itunes on Windows 10, i even put some movies, pictures and about 11gb of music, still good.

 

Did a reset from settings menu since the data of previous owner was still on the autofill, i contacted her to make sure that it's not a stolen device (i bought it from another person) and she confirmed that she had sold the ipod about 2 years ago.

 

To make sure, I did a restore via itunes, the device was ON and i just plug it into itunes, and click on restore, then i restore the back up i made before the restore, it was successful. As i skim through the trace of usage of the last 3 days, a thought crossed my mind that i should've set the device anew.

 

I tried to do another restore, via recovery mode and found this;

"We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time.

Please try again later, or contact customer care."

 

Tried via the ipod itself and got;

"Activation Error

Activation request could not be completed. Please press the home button to try again. If the problem persists, please contact customer care."

 

It's been about 8 hours and a dozen of restore, both in recovery and dfu, 2 laptops (win10 & win7), and 2 wifi.
