enableOwnership : Error encountered enabling us...

Hi everyone,

I managed to break my OS by deleting a file named "zz" because I wasn't able to upgrade from 10.10 to 10.10.5 through the Mac App store (Mac wouldn't restart). So I created a bootable USB with macOS El Capitan on it, using TransMac. I boot it using the Option key, thing loads up, but after a certain time the prohibitory sign shows up. I did some research and it appears to be a ownership issue. Note that I only have access to Recovery Mode. I tried to enable ownership using the terminal and typed in :

diskutil enableOwnership /dev/disk2

(/dev/disk2 being "Install OS X El Capitan", 15.6 GB)

Error displays as : Error encountered enabling user/group ownership: The underlying task reported failure on exit (-69860)

USB is not 3.0.

I've also tried booting up with a different date (01.01.2016), reset PRAM, reset SMC, enableOwnership after formatting the USB but nothing worked. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong issue ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

English is not my native language.
