USB C to HDMI dont work with Macbook 2017

Ive been trying to make it work my HDMI adapter to USB C in my new macbook 2017 and I can´t make it work. Has anyone had this issue? Am I doing something wrong? Ive try with differents adaptars and none of them have worked. Please you advice. Im currently outside US and i cannot take it to the store for a repair.

When I plug the adapter with the USB C port nothing happends in the HDTV. Ive trying looking in the screen options but nothing seems to be connected.
