iOS 11 mail

Have witnessed this a couple of times, but thought it was me. Watched an email come into mail on my iPhone yesterday. I read it then closed it to respond later. Reopened mail and couldn’t see it. Email does not show in my inbox on either my iPad or iPhone. If I search I can find it, and the search says it’s in my inbox.....but it’s not there in the list of mails. If I look at my email account on a browser it’s there too. Very strange. Another bug I would imagine! It’s NOT a microsoft or outlook account.
