ios 11 has no sound output control swtch

I have BT hearing aids that work great with my ipad sound.  Ater upadating to ios 11, the convenient sound control switch in ios 10.3.3 was gone.  This control was in the control panel, and allowed me to quickly switch from ipad speakers to my bt hearing aids.  How do I get that control back?
