IOS 11 help

I'm trying to update my iPod Touch 6th Generation but it cannot verify it says an error has occurred I tried resetting it by turning it off with the power button and home button and also trying to delete the download and downloading it again but still nothing and does not want to verify what do I do I have no computer to update my iPod
