restrictions

I forgot my restriction code. So I can't delet apps. I reseted my ipod touch, but it doesn't worked. So what can I do to get this restriction code again?

I'm not sure, no, but it's quite possible that the restrictions passcode is kept as part of the backup. The screen-lock passcode is different and most definitely is not part of the backup which is why the backup can be used in a restore when the screenlock passcode is forgotten.

Perhaps someone else here will direct experience can say for certain. I was unable to find anything in Apple's documentation or support articles about the restrictions passcode. The OP can of course try restoring using a backup and seeing if that does carry the restrictions passcode or not, and if it does then would have to restore again as a new device. No harm other than some possible extra work.

Regards.

Resetting the iPod won't work (restrictions would be pretty useless if they could be defeated just by rebooting the iPod) and there's no way to look up the code. You will need to restore the iPod as a new device, which will restore the iPod to factory condition, and then resync your apps and content from iTunes and recreate your settings. See:

Dave, are you sure that you have to restore as new iPod and recreate your settings?  The following article is very clear that if you forgot your screen-lock passcode you can restore from backup.  Specifically:

"f you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). "

I would expect the same for the restrictions passcode.

But no I can still delet my apps (': thank you for help

Thanks for letting us know that restoring from backup results in the restriction passcode also being restored.

plug it into your computer and delete manually

You cannot remove the restriction code from your computer, not without hacking a backup, anyway. Note as well that this thread is over a year old.

That makes no sense what

Nobody is help
