iCloud Drive 6.2.2

Dear all - I am running Windows 10 with all the latest patches as of September 24, 2017, and I have installed iCloud Drive for Windows version 6.2.2. I have approximately 600 GB of documents on the cloud.

After the install, the folder structures and content started downloading onto my Windows 10 PC. The issue I have is that the download is slow, and intermittent. Whereas a download from icloud.com with Chrome gets me 60 Mbps, I only get 10-20 with the iCloud Drive service (iClouddrive.exe), and this comes in bursts: 4-5 seconds of download flurry and about 15 seconds in between of no activity:

Any suggestions to help iCloud Drive fully utilize my bandwidth?
