Chase credit card notifications in Apple Wallet

I have setup most of my credit cards in Apple Wallet because of push notifications for transactions.  I love the fact that any purchases I make with my credit cards create a push notification almost instantly (helps me detect fraudulent purchases).

It works for all my cards but my Chase credit cards.  I have added/removed the cards multiple times, turned notifications on and off in the apple wallet settings (specific to each case), tried all the settings on chase.com, and even called their customer service (absolutely useless).  Push notifications are working perfectly for some other credit cards I have, so I know it's not apple wallets settings or phone settings (chase tried to convince me of this).

Does anyone have a chase credit card registered in apple wallet (sapphire preferred or chase freedom) and receive notifications for purchases made with the card?  I'm curious if they don't have this feature, removed it, or chase support is just being useless

Its been since the original post but just got the Chase Saphire Reserve and have the same issue (iOS 10.0.1) I noticed that within Wallet the Chase card shows no transactions. With BoA and AmEx I get notifications and transaction history for every transaction regardless if it was Apple Pay or not. I don't see any obvious settings within the Chase app or on the card within Wallet that would influence this.

I am having the same issue with my sapphire reserve card. Any insight into this problem would be helpful.

Same here. I really like this feature...Works great with my AmEx, but nothing with the Sapphire Reserve.

I have the same problem. It doesn't work on chase cards!

I also have this question for my Chase cards, including Reserve & United Club. I've talked to customer service and several senior tech and research agents. They can't figure it out. Meanwhile, the guy that sits next to me at work and got the card a week after me (and has the same phone) has no problems whatsoever. Go figure. Chase is bewildered, and simply cannot understand the problem.

Alright I have a solution! I talked to tech support at Chase today and they deleted my existing profile and had me create a new one. Everything (my cards, accounts) stayed connected. I've been with Chase for a very long time so my profile was old and I needed a new user name with a number in it and also a password with special character, too.

So, if you're having this problem then call Chase, ask to speak with a senior specialist, and ask them about the option to delete and recreate your profile. I was told the Bill Pays and the auto-payment link to my checking account to pay my card balance may get deleted. I didn't have any Bill Pays setup, but was happily surprised to see my auto-payment link was still setup.

So now all transactions, Apple Pay or not, come through Apple Wallet for your Chase cards?

Just want to confirm I understand correctly before going through with any changes.

And - now when you process any transaction - they all come through as push notifications? You don't need to tweak any of the app notification settings?

Do you have the Chase App installed on your iPhone too? The app (and website) have a few custom push notifications you can setup - like if a transaction is over a certain amount, a gas pump, international, etc.

When I had the AmEx - it would literally just show up the vendor and amount. I loved it. And when I looked under the credit card in my Apple Wallet it would show all the transactions.

Which of these are you getting after the rep reset your account?

I contacted Chase, but they were not much help.

Are you getting Apple Pay push notifications with your Chase Sapphire Reserve for every purchase you make? Or just purchases made with Apple Pay?

The only way I can get notifications for everything is to set a alert limit at $0.00 and anything authorized for more than that shows a message. I was hoping to get normal push notification for every amount charged to my card (like my AmEx did)

I only get Apple Wallet notifications when I make a transaction via Apple Pay.

Have $0.00 notification limits set for everything else. And when I make an Apple Pay purchase I get the duplicate notification.

Also contacted Chase. And also they were no help. Most people seem to barely be familiar with Apple Pay, let alone explain how it works.

They did all say the "deleting and recreating" my profile wouldn't help, although I haven't gone through with it to try. They all discouraged that, but maybe it's a lack of understanding of Apple Pay.

After telling Chase to remove my profile and me re-creating the profile, I removed my credit card from Apple Pay and added it back and notifications started to work.

Did you ever get push notifications for all of your transactions?

It did not.

I'll call them again and see. I've tried calling and having them to remove my old profile and I recreated it. It did nothing. Maybe I should've changed my username or password. Not sure.
