All my messages went away where did they go?

I did not delete my messages but woke up and they were all gone.

Might your iPhone's storage be full?

Check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage) and be certain you have absolutely no less than 10% of the iPhone's total storage free at all times.
