Network Share

Scenario:

Mac Mini - MacOS Sierra - Shares a folder (the Server)

Macbook Pro - MacOS Sierra - wants to access the share (the Client)

Hello Forum

On my Server (the Mac Mini) I am sharing a folder.

When I am connecting with the Client (my Macbook) I can change file names:

E.g. Client changes test1.txt to test2.txt.

If I now change the file name directly on the server, then the Client can't change the name back:

E.g. Directly on Server test2.txt is being changed to test3.txt

Now when I am trying to change the file again on the Client to test3-1.txt , I get an error message:

E.g. Client tries to change test3.txt to test3-1.txt --> Error Message: The operation can't be completed. An unexpected error occurred (error code -43).

To "solve" the solution I need to disconnect the share on the client and need to connect it again.

Then I can rename the file again, but only until it gets changed again on the server or by any other client.

This is happening for all share types AFP, SMB, Windows, all together or either of the 3. I tried pretty much everything.

The user on the server is admin and the client connects with that same username that is logged in.

I hope the above was explained understandable.

Is this a known issue and is there a solution for this problem?

For any support I would be very grateful,

Kind Regards, Chris
