how to cancel the automatic renewal of Pandora Premium Plan

If you are being asked for all of that information then it is a scam. If you have never signed up or paid for Pandora, and you got this renewal notice out of the blue, then it is a phishing email.

Did you provide any information at all when you clicked on the link? Did you have to provide a password or anything else to proceed?

If not, then read this article, and report the phishing attempt. Once reported, delete the email, and when you get any email out of the blue that has a link in it, do NOT click the link. If you feel it is a legitimate email from a vendor you do business with, then open a web browser and go to their site on your own to take care of the business.

Otherwise, if it is something that seems fishy, it probably is: Identify and report phishing communications - Apple Support

Best of luck,

Have a Look here: Pandora | Cancel your Subscription and here https://www.imore.com/how-cancel-your-pandora-premium-subscription

If the subscription was handled through iTunes, you will need to follow the steps here for making changes. View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

I followed your suggestions but when I go to Account settings in iTunes the category 'subscriptions' is not there. When I follow the link (in the original email notification of the pending charge for renewal) to cancel, I am asked for social security number, credit card verification info, etc. I am reluctant to give this in case of fraud. When you want to cancel the subscription, are you asked for all of this--is this legit??

I did not order a subscription to Pandora and yet I'm getting this response about renewal. The link to cancel asked for my social number. I do not want to give this. Can you get a renewal notice if you haven't signed up for an original trial period?

Just called iTunes and it is a phishing scam. I forwarded the email to apple as a report. Thanks

You are most welcome

Cheers,

I had the same. Sender email was do_not.replay@aud.edu so it's definitely a phishing attempt here

The reason it's not in your subscriptions is because you never subscribed to it. It's a fishing scam. Do not provide any details of the following that link.

I just got a similar Email. I started to fill out the information, I "signed in" with my Apple ID and password. It was asking for personal information, so I started typing things like my address and Social Security number. My "spider senses" started going off, I check the page security and sure enough it was non-secure. I immediately deleted what I had typed and did not submit. I changed my apple ID password right away, deleted the email, closed the browser and deleted cookies. Do I need to be worried about the information I typed into the page I was on?

Thanks and be careful out there.
