Which Macbook?

I am currently looking to purchase a Macbook, however i am unsure on which to get.

Majority of the time it will be used for university coursework (Writing and surfing etc). However, occasionally i will be completing tasks on software such as AutoCADD. In addition, I would like to edit my videos i shoot on my Go Pro, this will only be light editing as i am new to it.

Can anyone recommend a Macbook for me?

I think that for light usage as writing and surfing even a MacBook Air can be enough but ... if only one USB-C is not a limit, I would go to a MacBook for the better display.

The difference in price between a 12" MacBook and a 13" MacBook pro is only $250 Canadian.

If you are planning on using AutoCad I believe the MacBook Pro may be a better choice because it has an i5 processor while the MacBook has a Core m3 mobile processor.

I would go down to the Apple store and look at both before you make a decision.
