“You’re already an Apple Music memb...

I just purchased a subscription on the Apple Music app. When trying to listen to anything on any pages (except radio), a pop up message “You’re already an Apple Music member.” appears and I can’t listen to anything. I left Apple Music for a different streaming service when it was first released because of technical problems and it seems I am still unimpressed at Apple’s ability to make a product that works. Why is this notification popping up when I paid for the service instead of playing music?
