iCloud ID automatically changed on mac

Hi, guys. My apple ID changed from "xxxxx@hotmail.com" to "xxxx@icloud.com" on my mac. This last one is my cloud mail. Now when I access the icloud preferences panel, it asks my password and when I type, all buttons stay available for one second and then everything turns to gray (unaccessible) again. I don't know if it has something to do with macOS High Sierra. And also, my iPhone started to re-upload all my photos from iCloud to my device. The Photos app on my mac is normal. Any ideas?

We need accurate details to assist  - You state that you are using OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 - what version of the OS do you really have? Which iCloud preference panel are you using (system preferences or Photos preferences)

 

and you state that  iPhoto uploads photos - what version of iPhoto are you using?
