iTunes app on iWatch

Hello! What the **** they did with iTunes app on watch? I can´t get access to music on my iPhone anymore. If I want to play some music so first need to download to watch! Why they did it so stupid? I have few GB with music on phone but on watch I can download just a 2gb. I hope they gonna come with new update to fix this issue. (apple watch series 2)

Yes, until the Apple Watch Series 3 you had to add music to your Watch prior to playing it.

Not completely true, before you could play any song that was on your iPhone from your watch and control it if the phone was within range. I believe this is the issue the original poster is having. This is honestly my ONLY issue with the newest Apple Watch update; the ability to control music from your watch that is on your phone. For anyone with a Apple Watch Series 1 and 2, this is a huge backfire. This was a major feature on the Apple Watch before the series 3.

Sometimes I do keep certain songs from my Apple Music on my watch but at the same time, now I have to take out my phone to turn up the sound and change the song all together.

I believe you are referring to the remote app and yes I have seen the functions that were removed. Go here: Feedback - Apple Watch - Apple I wonder how much of this change had to do with adding Apple Music to the Series 3.

The Now Playing app can be used on Apple Watch to control playback of music that is on your iPhone after first having started playback on your iPhone.

If the Music and/or Now Playing apps no longer offer all of the features that you would prefer, then you can submit a feature request to Apple here (including to restore previous functionality):

I totally agree! The ability to play music from stored on my phone was one of my most used and most loved features. After the update, I find that ability has been basically taken away. As a teacher, I need the variety of my entire music library in my classroom. The newest update has drastically limited this ability. Also, my watch has a hard time staying synced to my Bluetooth speakers, whereas my phone does not. I have submitted a functionality request to Apple for the old music features to be restored, and I hope they will consider the needs of all Apple Watch users and not just the series 3 purchasers.
