weird keyboard question

Hi everyone,

I happened to bust out my old 2006 core duo 15" macbook pro this weekend. I was blown away by how nice the keyboard keys felt. They felt so smooth, well-padded, and satisfying and my typing accuracy was so much better!

The experience dredged up a lot of nostalgia and I've been wondering if I can get these keys/key mechanism to work w/ my 15" unibody MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012). Can anyone recommend any Apple- or 3rd-party-solutions to recreate the older typing experience on the unibody systems.

There is no practical solution for changing the internal keyboards to one with a different feel.

You can use one (or several) external USB keyboards at the same time.
