iTunes 12.7.0.166 further problems

How do I known sync my calendar and contacts from my Mac to iPad and iPhone without using iCloud??? Very often we are in a place where we cannot get internet reception but need to update calendar and contacts on all apple devices???? Apple again going backwards like they did a couple of years ago and then they brought the facility back!!!!!!!!! Vital to be able to do this in our business!!!!!!
