MacBook Pro running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 does n...

I have tried all the troubleshooting instructions from Garmin but they have been unable to help. The USB cable seems to be working good as I was able to get the device recognised in a computer running Windows 7, but for some reason my MacBook does not. I can't see the device in Finder when I connect it.

 

I'm not sure if this information could be important but I had another Vivosmart HR that was sent to Garmin for warranty repairs. That one connected to MacBook perfectly. Unfortunately the device resulted to be impossible to repair so Garmin returned a new one which I can't seem to be able to get MacBook to recognise.

 

Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
