iMac 2017 memory slots

iMac 21.5" 2017 Retina 4K Display:

Does this systems have 4 slots? If yes, can the slots be populated as follows,

For 16 GBs, 2 x 8 GBs? Rather than 4 x 4 GBs.

For 32 GBs, 2 x 16 GBs? Rather than 4 x 8 GBs.

Lower memory modules like 4 GBs and sometimes 8 GBs (while depleting inventory), become throw away modules during upgrades if all 4 slots are populated. Thus, increasing the costs to consumers due to poor or less than optimal planning at time of purchase and product build.

That Mac has two slots.
