Redownloaded Purchases Not Transferring to PC

Long story short, I redownloaded newly uncensored episodes of a show I bought a year ago and foolishly thought I could transfer these 'new' episodes from my iPad to my PC for back-up. My question is: is there any way I can transfer these episodes onto my PC since Transfer Purchases doesn't work?

Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Cheers!

P.S. I know these episodes aren't considered new purchases, but the content added to them is and I'd like to keep the uncensored versions over the censored. I also know that I could just redownload these episodes from the iTunes Store on my PC, but I live in a very rural area that has extremely limited Internet.

Transfer purchases from device should work to copy content from the device to the library, but if you have the original episodes in the library iTunes probably sees no reason to copy them over. Try the remove download option on one of the episodes in your library, then transfer purchases again.

Thanks so much for answering. I actually just figured out a solution to my problem and came on here to close this question when I saw your reply. The answer was so bloody obvious, I'm kicking myself: just transfer the purchases to another computer. *sighs* Thanks again, though. Appreciate it.
