Upgrade to the new Logic Pro X

HI, I'd like to know if there is a special upgrade fee for longtime Logic pro users. I have now the 9.1.8 version and wish to upgrade to the newest 10.0.4 version.

Short answer: No. All of us have to purchase LPX from the Appstore at full price. It is cheap, however.

Cheap is a relative term - individually, perhaps, but as this High Sierra upgrade also forces several other products to be re-purchased. Not kind of Apple to make these upgrades so costly for a suite of products!
