Stolen iMac
A family member stole my brand new iMac ... I hadn't taken it out of the box yet. Therefore, I did not get a chance to sign up for Find My Mac. Any suggestions other than submitting a Police Report?
There's absolutely no way to track it if it hasn't even been open, but since you know who took it hopefully they will be easily locatable for the police.
File your police report. You can also file a loss claim with your home owners or renter's insurance. If you paid for it with a credit card, check with your CC company to see if they offer any loss insurance.
