i do not want ios11putting apps into my dasboar...

i do not want apps inserting themselves into my dashboard and i want to know how to remove them. i just want the four i have always had there and i use ios 11

Go into the settings, dock and turn off the recent and suggested apps. then what’s in the dock is only what you put there
