iCloud PC: how to pulse and resume download pro...

This is the first time I use the icloud PC client on my computer. I have 20Gb picture files to download. 

I know my experience sounds stupid, but i want to figure out how to pulse download before I turn off my computer and resume it later. I also want to know how to stop or delete some ongoing downloading process.

In the first time, I set up the client and it started downloading, then my computer went to sleep. After I woke up my computer, the download process never resumed. And the download photo button disappeared in the icloud app.

Then I used the installation file to fix the error and restart the download, it create a new folder 2017(2). I don't like the looking of of the "(2)". I decided to unintall the software and start a fresh downloading.

After I reinstall my icloud pc, I am downloading the picture to 2017(3). I only have 400 files in my icloud, now there are 800 photo downloading.  I deleted the 2017 and 2017(2), then they are automatically added to my Downloads folder.
