Switch to other iMac? Which GPU is better?

Hi I need some help to decide which of two Macs I should use. Mainly I can't differentiate between the GPU.

Currently using:

iMac 27" / Mid 2011 / i5 3.1 GHz / 16 GB RAM (limit)

AMD Radeon HD6970M 1024 MB

Alternative?

iMac 27" / Late 2012 / i5 2.9 GHz / 8 GB (would upgrade to 32 GB)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512 MB

While the first one has better GPU (?) and slightly more CPU power it is limited to 16 GB RAM and it is one year older.

The second one has less GPU power, but I can upgrade to 32 GB RAM and some other figures are better as well, but I don't know what that means

I do use Photoshop (graphic designer) a lot and Final Cut. I know both aren't capable for 4K video editing, but my current one (first one, mid 2011) is sometimes not really fun when I use Final Cut.
