New iPad not turning on?

I've been trying to turn on my new iPad I just got in mail and it hasn't yet. I've been charging for the past hour or so and still nothing. Maybe I'm missing something? Came with no instructions. Frustrating.

Have you tried a soft-reset/reboot to see if that gets it to boot up ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo will hopefully appear and it will boot up.

what can do to get my ipad air working again ? , it's not turning on Nor charging .

Assuming that the battery isn't empty (it can take about 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), have you tried a soft-reset/reboot to see if that gets it to boot up ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo will hopefully appear and it will power up
