Mail attachment problems on iMac
I have a mid-2011 iMac running OS X El Capitan.
My iMac Mail app is having problems finding files to attach. When I navigate to the folder I wish for the attachment document, it sees the folder content as it was 2 weeks ago -- when I shut down the iMac for vacation -- and not as it is currently, with new stuff in the folder. Anything added in the last 2 weeks is not visible and therefore not attachable to the e-mail. It is like the "finder" in the Mail program is stuck at the place it was 2 weeks ago, and is not updating itself. I have tried restarting the iMac but it changes nothing.
BTW, the overal iMac Finder is working fine -- it finds any file, no matter how recent. It is only the "finder" in Mail that seems stuck.
What can I do? Thanks!
Rod
