Mail password

I had to redownload outlook for computer because 10 crashed. After setting up email, I can't get iPad mail to send. My provider gave me new password but the old one is still in outgoing server and I cannot change so I'm assuming that's why I can't send. How can I change this password. When I try, it will not verify.
