2 sided printing setup for epson

Hello eveyone,

i have just had a macbook air ( Mac os X 10.10.5) not for long time, and i have just found out that i couldnt print on 2 sides with my printer epson XP 205-207

I tried to change the default setting on CUPS but i cannot find the scroll to change the setting for 1 sided / 2 sided printing.

It was shown that my printer is a 2 sided printer but is  set to default to print on one side. Here are what i found. Please help me, i have hundred of slides to print and it would cost me numerous papers to print them on one side

CUPS, the Common Unix Printing System, is a way to set up your computer to act as a print server.  Why are you using CUPS?  Maybe you have a good reason, but I would not suggest using CUPS unless you do have a good reason.

Instead, download the latest Epson printer drivers:

Epson Printer Drivers v3.2 for OS X

Then, once you set up your printer:

... and you are ready to print double-sided, Go to File > Print, then click here, change the setting to "Layout", and select the double-sided option there.

For anyone using an epson workforce printer and unable to double sided print on their mac, I have found a solution.

Follow the following steps:

1. Go to system preferences and click on printers and scanners

2. Select your printer and then make sure you are under the "print" tab.

3. Select options and supplies, then show printer webpage

4. When at the website, click the "back to main" button.

5. At top of the  page select advanced settings in the dropdown menu

6. Select printer setting from the list on the left side of the page, then select error settings

7. make sure auto error solver is switched to On.

You are done.

After hours of fighting, I now have the double sided page option when i go to print.
