Safari still wont delete Website Data in IOS 10...

Apple still has not come with an update to correct this ..this was taken today July 6thIMG_0048.JPG

I see that you are unable to delete website data on your iPhone. It's important to make sure that you can remove this data if you no longer need it, so I'll happy to assist you with this.

Just to confirm, when you click 'Remove All Website Data' all of these still remain, is that correct? If so, try to swipe left on each of these and you should see a 'Delete' button. Tap that and it should remove these for you.

Hey i-rina please dont insult my intelligence, your reply with the links DOES NOT WORK PERIOD. This has been an on going issue with apple ... so bye- bye safari ! Its going into restrict mode and a superior browser will take its place..

I agree, its insulting and typical of Apple to churn through the same old do this do that, when its clearly an issue, still not addressed . I have been Apple Tech since the Classic, I know my way around most Apple products. I have followed this problem since i noticed it a while back. The only way we have found to resolve it, is to wipe the device and DONT sset it up from a backup! great if youre happy to do this everytime, renders the device pointless for any other use, if all you are doing is contantly following Apples's bug around. I have stopped using Safari, but as there is no way to change default browser ( yes i know jailbreak etc) it opens with every link click. Before anyone says " why do you need to remove etc" that is not the question. Its unlikely it will be fixed until they give it to somebody to fix. Whenever there is a problem Apple always seems to revert to type, not denial as such but user error mode, follow the guidelines mode.

It is frustrating to a. have the issue, but even more demeaning to be ignored or pushed into their flimsy how to answers.

Why doesnt someone just say " lets look and see if we can re-create the problem in house and get back to you.

Users dont really want to spend their time wiping their devices (unless Apple consider this as using the device).

 

There is a slew of issues that Apple need to fix, which would probably take a few weeks and a couple of engineers to sort out.

Small cost with big brownies points to be had.

Facial recognition? Whats the point, we just want to use a safe browser on our 1k phone, you cant even manage that!
