macOS high Sierra
I have a 2012 MBP and a 2011 mac mini. I know they can be upgraded to High Sierra. They both have HDD's not SSD's. I have read that only SSD's will be formatted with the new format. Those that are HHD's will not. So does that mean that I can upgrade, but the file formats will not be changed? If that is correct, what are the advantages of the new format versus the old format when High Sierra is installed? Thanks.
